Period Property, Southwold

The Queen Anne style semi-detached property was derelict when purchased and had stood empty for over 2 years. Now, it has been lovingly transformed into a grand, family home.

The house underwent a complete modernisation. Missing original features were restored, circulation remodelled, and the rear extended to almost double the ground floor footprint. Underfloor heating and thermal insulation upgrades were fundamental, finished with stylish fittings and furniture throughout. The renovation was an orchestrated labour of love between the clients’ passion for restoration and our desire to maximise the properties potential.

The interior is predominantly monochrome, with bold wallpaper and classical-inspired decoration. Plaice were also asked to provide a furniture scheme throughout the property, which was a pleasure to design and install.
