Fritton Lake

The Overview

Fritton Lake is a private holiday club in the East of England where members have exclusive access to facilities within the estate, including sailing, nature safaris, tennis, swimming or relaxing in the vast and varied grounds. The estate is home to luxury cabin retreats, surrounded by wildlife and grazing animals, sat in the middle of a pioneering thousand-acre rewilding project.

The Challenge

Following the work completed for the Somerleyton Village Masterplan we were asked to provide a number of illustrations for Fritton Lake. The illustrations are to be used by guests to navigate around the grounds and to explore the activities on offer. They had to convey the attractive and exclusive environment of the Fritton Lake experience.

The Solution

We spent some time exploring Fritton Lake to get a feel for the grounds. We then combined freehand sketches and rendering to create an attractive and readable map for guests. The map will be installed at identified locations throughout the grounds.
